The Role

Overview

Inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles and equipment ensuring safety and quality.

Tasks

-Complete expense reports digitally in a timely manner. -Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure the completion of deadlines. -Prepare and maintain records and reports. -Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure the quality of repairs and service. -Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe and presentable manner. -Complete work orders on an IPAD -Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required. -Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, and generators, in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

What You Bring

-You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work -You have good verbal communication skills. -You have extensive Heavy Truck/Heavy Equipment repair experience. -You have knowledge of Vermeer/Ditch Witch drills, plows and mix systems repair procedures. -You have a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus. -You have knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures. -You have the ability to use a cutting torch and basic welding skills. -You have knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics. -You have a High School Diploma, or equivalent. -You have the proven ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic and air), and basic wiring. -You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality -You have experience with Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift and Terex aerial units. -You have precise hand-eye coordination. -You have the ability to work with little supervision. -You have clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships.
