Tasks

-Providing engineering design input to major infrastructure projects -Providing HV design input to renewable energy projects e.g., Battery storage, Solar, Hydro and Wind generation -Provide professional services to clients in UK/Ireland and overseas -Owners’ Engineer role on HV substation/Cable and OHL projects

What You Bring

-A Degree in Electrical Engineering -Experience of working on multi-discipline engineering projects -Experience in Technical report writing -Experience of developing specifications or detailed designs for substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear. -Experience in reviewing review detailed designs & witnessing construction site activities. -Experience of working on High Voltage design projects -Full driving license and access to a personal vehicle as site visits may be required as part of this role -Fluency in English -Chartered accreditation or working toward status -Experience as a designer or as project engineer -Consultancy experience -Primary plant layouts for HV substations -Experience of working with major utilities or developers -The ability to work flexibly across multiple projects
