Tasks

-Produce high-quality technical documentation and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery of products -Design, analyse, validate and verify the electronic aspects of products, ensuring they meet the latest regulatory standards (e.g., EMC, LVD, CE, UKCA) -Lead the full lifecycle development of electronic elements of products, including analogue and digital electronics -Take ownership of projects, driving quality and process improvements as the scale of product deployment increases

What You Bring

***This is a hybrid role that will require you to be on-site in Capenhurst near Chester (CH1 6ES) on an ad hoc basis i.e. some weeks 0 days, some weeks 3-5 days. Please apply ONLY if you live within a reasonable commuting distance*** -Ability to lead and manage projects including overseeing teams of engineers -Experience in full product lifecycle management from specification to manufacturing and deployment -Experience with firmware development (C, C++) and python for test scripts -A solid track record of designing products that meet regulatory requirements including documentation support -Have Chartered Engineer status or progressing toward this -Flexibility and adaptability to prioritise changing needs -Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional teams -Strong skills in communication, leadership and presentation -Knowledge of the electricity industry or control room applications would be advantageous -Considerable proven experience in Professional Electronic Engineering
