Tasks

-Maintain open communication with the branch manager and/or central dispatch for delivery schedules. -Maintain flexibility in your daily routine to respond to management's responses to customer's demands. -Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions, or any other problems relating to timely pickups or delivery of equipment -Secure rental equipment and other equipment by means of chaining, strapping, and blocking under the strict accordance and established procedures of the Department of Transportation (DOT) policies. -Report any damage to equipment or vehicles that is uncovered during the process of picking up the equipment from the customer to the Branch manager. -Report all accidents to Branch Manager and Safety Manager. -Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained during the workday and are available for inspection upon request. -Operate non-commercial vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. -Observe safety rules and regulations at customer job sites, facilities, and other Teja's Equipment Rental related facilities. -Transport, deliver and retrieve assorted rental equipment. -Provide training assistance for customers by answering general questions regarding the safe operations of vehicles, tools, or machinery. -Perform vehicle inspections before and after pickups and deliveries.
