Tasks

-Develops and aligns processes, which may include but are not limited to: spiral pipe, plumbing, and hanger prefabrication with VDC department, Purchasing, project delivery scheduling, and TD Manufacturing processes and recoveries. -Ensures the facility is operating safely and efficiently by identifying and eliminating safety hazards in conjunction with the Safety Department and safety professionals for the well-being of everyone at the facility and/or job site. -Responsible for managing the team’s budget and financials. -Manages, coaches and develops within a team environment. -Leads Construction training for the team of direct reports, which may include, but are not limited to: Day 2 Safety Training, Air Side, Hydronics, Copper, Brazing classes and equipment, Specific tools, materials and installation classes associated with project and/or field training. -Interviews potential new hires for skilled trades. Facilitates hands-on skills assessments for potential new hires. -Develop a standard operating procedure for training, hiring and career advancement.

What You Bring

Bilingual is required Excellent communication, presentation, teaching, developing and ability to educate a diverse team.Must have the ability to effectively multitask. Must be comfortable interviewing and hiring talent Knowledgeable of standard mechanical and plumbing codes.Adept with industry-specific software. (Procore, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bluebeam preferred) Proven experience as a construction leader, teacher, inspector or related position. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction or a related field is required.
