Designs ICAT systems for the built environment, including pathway drawings, low voltage device and telecommunications outlet plan drawings, systems single line drawings and technical specifications. Technology systems include but are not limited to: Electronic Security Systems, Structured Cable Systems, Paging Systems, Wireless Systems and Data Network Systems
Development and delivery of ICAT design packages for healthcare, commercial and institutional projects.
Handles design development and document preparation in written and computer-aided design formats.
Participate in project management activities: Proposals, budgeting, scheduling, client communications, and change control.
Work collaboratively with architects, electrical/mechanical consultants, IT stakeholders, and hospital technical teams.

Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in electrical engineering required along with a minimum eight (8) years’ relevant experience related to ICT preferred.
Knowledge in the following systems: Structured cabling (voice/data/fiber), Wi-Fi and DAS systems, Security (CCTV, access control, intrusion), EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System), Nurse call and RTLS. Working knowledge of ICAT services required for Building automation integration (BAS/BMS) and Audio-visual systems
Experience in healthcare or hospital projects is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field (P.Eng. or CET an asset).
Additional certifications such as; CTS, PSP, CWS, PMP, DCDC or OSP is preferred
10–15 years of experience in ICAT design or consulting.
