Overview
Sell Yardi software, manage full sales cycles, develop client relationships, meet targets.

Tasks
-Attend meetings and perform tasks for extended periods on a computer and on the telephone -Executes full sales cycles, including lead-generation; discovery and goal setting; pricing, packaging, and positioning; RFP management; contract negotiating; and closing. -Generates and reviews individual account, pipeline, and performance reports; meets regularly with management to review sales strategy. -Develops and utilizes knowledge of Yardi products, industry, and competition to present value propositions to prospects and/or clients, develop a sufficient pipeline, and meet individual sales goals. -Researches, calls, and qualifies each account in the assigned territory. -Participates in marketing events to promote Yardi Systems, products, and services. -Identifies key decision-makers; develops strong business relationships and a deep understanding of the client’s and/or prospect’s business needs. -Utilizes internal CRM diligently, recording all client and/or prospect activities, sales opportunities, and forecasts per training guidelines. -Conducts in-person and/or virtual meetings with executive-level leadership to deliver executive reviews and product demonstrations at the frequency and standard required to successfully complete sales cycles. -Completes annual certifications for assigned products per training guidelines.

-High responsiveness with client-centered commitment and focus -Knowledge of accounting principles -Regular attendance and a regular work schedule are essential functions of this job -Ability to build relationships and interface with decision makers at mid-sized companies -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment -Excellent presentation and demonstration skills -Solid understanding of sales cycle management principles, including lead generation; discovery and qualification; pricing, packaging, and positioning; proposal development; contract negotiation; and closure -Yardi domain experience -Ability to work at assigned office location -Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills -Up to 50% travel required -Ability to understand and demonstrate technical products -Three plus (3+) years of successful sales experience in the technology or software industry -Proficiently demonstrates product and presents solutions to clients and/or prospects. -Goal oriented and self-motivated -Proactive with strong problem-solving skills -Industry experience in property management -Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications -Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience -Experience using Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track and manage prospect and client activity -Excellent time management and organizational skills
