Assist Community Manager with leasing, admin, and resident services.

Tasks

-Assisting the Community Manager in designing and implementing a resident retention program, i.e., a newsletter or social activities. -Lease to qualified prospects by showing available apartments. Assist with the lease renewal program with initial contact and follow-up on residents. -Assisting the Community Manager in subsequent orientation, training and scheduling of all leasing and office personnel. -Inspect model, office, and vacant units as necessary to ensure marketability. Ensure on-site office is organized and files are maintained as required. Inspect all make-readies. -Responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the community. -Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and behavior for oneself and all personnel at all times. -Efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and reports. Post rent to operational software. Perform bookkeeping functions as necessary. -Responsible for ensuring efficient and courteous response to all resident requests. -Responsible for the inventory and ordering of all necessary administrative supplies and equipment for the office staff. -Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

What You Bring

-Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures. -Thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and sales methods as outlined in the Leasing & Marketing Manual. Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of community. -Shop competition regularly and have knowledge of their pricing, policies, lease terms, community terms, etc. -Knowledge of Fair Housing Standards -Need to have an awareness of the “curb appeal” of the community.
