The Role
Overview
Implement & maintain QHSE systems, ensure safety compliance, conduct inspections, support sites.

Tasks
-Record & Report on QHSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. -Act as the NSPS representative in all QHSE meetings, committees, Centre of Excellence (CoE) and seminars. -Develop, implement and improve QHSE management systems, processes and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and any other locally applicable OHS & Quality regulation and standards throughout Australia. -Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Business Development & Operations team -Develop, implement and encourage the behavioral based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections. -Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management. -Understand, implement and follow the NSPS QHSE policies. -Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures onsite. -Develop, facilitate and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team. -Assist in ensuring that all works carried out complies with the company Health, Safety & Environment requirements at all times, and in accordance with company policy. -Support other QHSE staff and contract managers as and when required. -Report any HSE incident immediately as per HSE procedures. -Undertake QHSE inspections internally and with third parties/contractors as per the approved inspection program of the company. Follow up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitor the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments. -Perform daily walk throughs in both Novasource facilities and / or in clients’ premises to monitor and promote a safe workplace. -Suggest and advise changes to ensure continuous improvement on any additional effective KPIs to be added in the system as part of continual improvement

What You Bring
-Robust experience, specifically experience with setting up new processes -Experience working within a multi-national organization, including direct support of international emerging markets -Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment. -Track record in driving various QHSE initiatives to successful conclusion -Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment. -Effective problem identification and problem-solving relationships with internal and external resources -Completing projects independently with minimal guidance -Proven success working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast paced environment -White card for the Construction Industry (mandatory) -Good knowledge of waste management practices and hazards. -General knowledge of Environmental hazards and HSE principles. -Audit experience in both indoor and outdoor environments. -Current Valid driving license (mandatory) -Extensive & proven HSEQ/Systems Background. -Understanding of Legal requirements to Health, Safety & Environment. -5-7 years of experience in a similar role
