Tasks
-Apply safety and occupational risk prevention criteria when handling equipment and materials. -Supervise the production process at the plant, ensuring that the equipment is functioning correctly. -Participate in troubleshooting issues related to production or material performance. -Prepare technical reports on test results. -Ensuring that materials comply with the required regulations and technical specifications. -Properly file records for future audits and consultations. -Control concrete mixes, ensuring that the proportions comply with technical specifications. -Collect samples of materials such as concrete, cement, aggregates, soils and asphalts at different stages of the process. -Manage the inventory of reagents, tools, and materials needed for testing. -Collaborate with the production team to adjust mixing formulas based on quality observations. -Recording test results and analysing possible deviations. -Ensure that quality control practices comply with local and international standards. -Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in good condition. -Performing laboratory tests to determine the physical, chemical and mechanical properties of materials (e.g. strength, settlement, particle size, etc.).
