Tasks

Fabrication Of Structural Steel Components- Estimator -Collaborate with engineers, shop foremen, project managers, vendors, and customers -Source materials and obtain vendor quotations -Participate in meetings to define project scope and requirements -Prepare detailed cost estimates -Support estimating for fracture-critical work and complex fabrication projects -Analyze engineering drawings and interpret specifications -Generate purchase orders and assist with bid proposals

What You Bring

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in structural steel estimating (required) -Hands-on steel fabrication or erection experience -Knowledge of AISC standards and industry codes -Experience using estimating software (such as Tekla) -Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
