Process OQ Engineer

Tasks

-Personally participates in solving difficult technical problems Accountable for the efficient planning and management of resources, identifying ad pursuing opportunities for margin improvement, including HVEC utilization. -Perform Technical assurance review of process engineering activity on projects and support internal development and continuous improvement activity as required -Develop, review, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of Process engineering deliverables -Carry out process engineering design activities, following client and Amec Foster Wheeler standards and procedures to schedule and budget -Ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targets using sound technical knowledge and decision-making skills -Remain up to date with the latest technical developments in your fields of expertise -Demonstrate, provide and develop appropriate technical solutions for specific project issues -Provide technical expertise and support to business winning activity as required -Identifies and mitigates areas of risk and improvement opportunities -Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the Pharma Process technical work performed in the department -Ensure Amec Foster Wheeler and Client Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all associated work. -Responsible for the overall Process engineering content for assigned contracts/projects

What You Bring

-Awareness, respect and the ability to reconcile cultural diversity -Chemical/ Biochemical Engineering degree (minimum) -Significant persuasion and influencing skills -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing people at all levels of the organization. -Good knowledge of Chemical and Fermentation based API plants and Biopharma plants as well as all supporting pharmaceutical grade and site utilities -Hands on experience in process simulation soft-wares like Aspen Hysis, SuperPro, Schedule-pro etc. -Conduit for regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments. -Well versed with Concept Design, Basic Design and Detail engineering with high level knowledge in pharmaceutical (API & Bio)/chemical processes -Typically requires 7 years progressive experience in discipline engineering -Broad and extensive knowledge of multipurpose and dedicated API facilities including Pilot Plants, Multi product and Modular facilities
