Provide technical support for B&R products, troubleshooting hardware/software issues.

Tasks

-Deliver technical training for customers and internal teams to ensure effective product adoption and operation. -Manage and document all support cases using engineering tools such as Jira and Confluence. -Begin as a trainee within B&R trainee program to learn what B&R has to offer in both hardware and software solutions. -Partner with Sales and Application Engineering to define product specifications, build demo hardware, and support customer visits or field evaluations. -Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues for customers and partners. -Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base content. -Provide detailed technical feedback to R&D and Product Management to improve product design, reliability, and usability. -Continuously identify process and product improvement opportunities through engineering analysis and customer insights. -Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams to analyze root causes, escalate issues, and drive long-term solutions. -Develop a strong technical understanding of company products to deliver expert-level support and guidance.

What You Bring

-Excellent written/verbal communications skills and customer service skills -Applicants must be authorized to work permanently in the US without sponsorship now or in the future -Domestic and international travel; up to 10% in North America; occasional International. Travel can include short-notice service trips (1-5 day duration, typically less than 3 days). In addition, occasional training or internal meetings at other company locations; valid US passport with no travel limitations is required. -Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a part of a decentralized team -Problem-solving and critical thinking skills -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering or related technical field preferred). -Interest and/or exposure in the following areas are preferred: motion control systems, programming languages (ladder diagram, structured text), Windows operating systems, real-time operating systems, PC- and PLC-hardware applications, mechanical and electrical systems and physics; Application development experience in a high-level language preferred
