Tasks

-Provide technical solutions for new plant/equipment and revamp of existing plant/equipment to improve functionality, safety and reliability based on approved process designs. -Prepare specifications for all new and revamped equipment and provide support for equipment purchases. -Acting as Process Design lead for site projects and small process changes. -Engage in the plant safety and the general company safety programmes. -Provide plant support when necessary, e.g. installation or change of equipment, operation of equipment. -Provide day to day support for the Engineering design team activities, with particular focus on process design/process engineering. -Evaluate existing process units as a means to support the plant/testing team troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking constraints and improving reliability. -Attend regular process design / process change review meetings and provide technical guidance and advice to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose scopes are achieved and subsequently executed. -Liaise and work effectively with external engineering resource providers to support the design, deployment and commissioning of the Balance of Plant of the different systems. -Work with Testing Engineers to understand / help resolve upgrades to existing fuel cell systems and design of new fuel cell systems

What You Bring

-A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering -Good understanding of chemical engineering principles in terms of hydraulics, heat transfer, mass transfer, separation processes and control/operation of associated plant. -Good knowledge of process equipment and technology, sizing and preparing process equipment specifications and preparing safety critical calculations for protective and control devices. -Solid experience working in various Process Design Engineering roles in industrial environments.
