Overview

Lead survey crew, manage field data, and report results to the Survey Team Manager.

Tasks

-Oversees the daily functions of the survey crew -Understand and compute field calculations relative to the survey data collected -Effectively manage the time and schedules of the survey crew -Ensures the proper reporting of daily work logs to the Org Manager -Operates all survey equipment and interprets data in order to report information to the Org Manager -Reduces survey data to the Org Manager -Drives company vehicle to and from job sites -Interprets blueprints/plans/deeds in order to effectively lead the survey crew -Responsible for the set up and completion of the survey crew on job sites under the direct supervision of the Professional Land Surveyor and/or job supervisor

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. -Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a ladder. -Be able to read and comprehend measurements. -.Ability to travel and stay overnight based on the work load of the Survey Department -Must be able to drive a company vehicle to and from job sites. -Required to remain standing for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day and walk long distances. -Must be able to communicate effectively with others. -On time and consistent attendance is required -Five (5) years verifiable experience in running a crew in surveying commercial and/or heavy industrial construction stakeout. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Ability to work in the outside elements of the field up to 100% of the time. -Must have a valid Driver's License -Intermediate math skills which include trigonometry and coordinate geometry.
