Tasks

-Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards -Manage subcontractors and other project personnel to ensure quality work and adherence to project schedules -Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and ensure satisfaction -Oversee all aspects of the construction phase of custom home renovations -Work collaboratively with architects, designers and engineers, to identify and address design and construction issues -Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans, are complete and accurate -Manage all aspects of the site, including material deliveries, site cleanliness, and site safety -Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes

What You Bring

-High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional trade school or apprenticeship training preferred -Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation -Respect for architecture and interior design -Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Effective design interpretation and layout -Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Procore -Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in high-end custom residential construction in the San Francisco Bay Area -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents -Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques -Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards -Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
