Tasks

-Ensure compliance with local building codes, utility regulations, and industry standards -Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in dry utility design -Generate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for dry utility components -Prepare detailed documentation and reports for project stakeholders -Coordinate with project teams to integrate dry utility designs into overall building information models -Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on dry utility systems -Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between dry utilities and other building systems -Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for dry utility systems using industry-standard software -Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to optimize utility designs and improve constructability

What You Bring

-BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, is preferred -Familiarity with industry standards, local building codes, and utility regulations -Strong knowledge of dry utility systems, including electrical, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure -Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field -3-5 years of experience in BIM for dry utilities or a related field -Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D -Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting -Excellent 3D modeling and visualization skills -Excellent communication and collaboration skills -Strong analytical and technical skills -Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
