Tasks

The position will involve the build and assembly of both prototype and production vehicles, ensuring high-quality standards are achieved while also supporting the development of new processes and workshop practices. The ideal candidate will have experience from motorsport, automotive, EV, aerospace, or a similar industry, and will thrive in a fast-paced, practical environment. As the team expands, there will be opportunities to support the onboarding of new technicians and take a lead role in certain areas of production. -Support onboarding and training of new technicians as the team grows. -Support continuous improvement activities such as fault management and process development. -Assist with production line setup, tooling introduction, and workshop improvements. -Provide updates in daily status meetings on build progress and technical issues. -Update production dashboards with live status of jobs against schedule. -Carry out quality checks, end-of-line inspections, and rectifications as required. -Assemble and fit prototype and production vehicles, as well as test and development assets.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Build Technician with a strong mechanical background to join a growing engineering team in London. This is a hands-on role, working on innovative projects at the cutting edge of transport and mobility technology. -Experience with electrical or electronics assembly. -Strong communication and teamwork skills. -Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. -Skilled in prototype, bespoke, or development builds. -Mechanical bias with strong hands-on technical skills. -Workshop management or controller experience. -On-site role in London (NW10), 5 days per week. -Background in automotive, motorsport, EV, aerospace, or related sectors. -Ability to interpret engineering/manufacturing drawings, including CAD models. -Safety-conscious with adherence to company policies and standards. -Familiarity with MES and/or fault management systems. -Fabrication skills (sheet metal, welding, machining). -Organised, methodical, and quality-focused.

Benefits
