The Role
Overview
Oversee and manage building commissioning projects from pre‑construction through close‑out.

Tasks
-Develop project-specific test scripts including Pre-Functional Checklists (PFC), Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST). -Perform periodic Site Observation Visits during construction and preparing Site Observation Reports -Collaborate with Project Accountants to develop monthly invoices, accounts receivables and accounts payables -Review of submittals and shop drawings -Design reviews including OPR, BOD, Plans and Specification. -Onsite execution and witnessing of tests -Review and understand project plans, project scopes, specifications, contract documents, and schedules -Develop commissioning scope and fees for proposals -Coordinate with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and the owner verbally and in writing -Develop Commissioning Reports/Systems Manuals -Manage the resolution of Commissioning Issues -Facilitate OPR Workshop if required -Be the main point of contact for clients and internal staff on assigned projects -Develop Commissioning Plans -Facilitate commissioning meetings, capturing and delivering meeting minutes to the project team. -Perform Warranty Walk Throughs and updating Cx Reports/Systems Manuals

What You Bring
-You have a high-level understanding of engineering knowledge specifically in the built environment -Ability to climb stairs/ladders -Physical ability to bend and lift 30 lbs -Project Management Certification is preferred but not required -You have experience managing multiple projects from start to finish -Project Management Experience -You can respond thoughtfully and effectively to sensitive situations -Certification in Building Commissioning is preferred but not required -Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience -Ability to read, understand and act on project financial information -Field experience is preferred -You are highly organized, have proven team leadership skills, and are able to deliver excellent service to clients -You have analytical skills to be able to analyze relevant information and provide thoughtful solutions -Ability to read construction drawings -You have an understanding of local energy codes and LEED Cx requirements -You have excellent written and verbal communication skills -Understand and communicate complete project contract scope, regulations, and safety measures to internal staff and other project team members -Knowledge of Building Automation Systems is a plus -Professional Engineering License is preferred but not required
