Tasks

-Lead long-term and short-term planning for offshore wind operations, driving efficiency, cost optimisation, and performance across the full asset lifecycle. -Champion safety and compliance, embedding SSE’s “zero harm” standards and industry best practice in all planning activities. -Oversee work management systems (e.g., Maximo), ensuring best practice, automation, and consistency across all offshore assets. -Build and lead a high-performing planning team, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement. -Own and maintain production and revenue plans, integrating planned maintenance and realistic assumptions for unplanned downtime.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, communicate effectively and drive positive change across diverse or remote teams. -Proven experience in strategic asset planning within energy, utilities, or a similarly complex operational environment. -Strong understanding of maintenance and production planning principles, ideally within offshore or renewables sectors. -Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies such as APM, PMI or PRINCE2, with the ability to apply structured project principles to operational delivery. -Proficiency in CMMS systems (Maximo essential) and planning tools ( Primavera P6 or MS Project an advantage).
