Perform jobsite walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities
Develop, monitor, and update project Plans & Schedules encompassing the entire engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCQ) life cycle.
Integrate into an overall master schedule.
Scheduler is accountable for developing, progressing, and forecasting all phases of the project schedule/plan using the most current industry practices and software.
Maintain a record of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
Facilitate/participate in project scheduling meetings, as well as Pull/Phase/Takt/Interactive planning sessions as required to develop, refine, and progress project plans.
Prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.
At the project's completion, develop and record the project’s historical schedule information and “lessons learned”.
Assure the credibility of the information in the master schedule.
Analyze scope changes & change orders for schedule impacts.
The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.
Regularly progress & review schedules with the project team to ensure accurate and timely data is incorporated and forecasted.
Monitor schedule progress, deviations, and variances and assess impacts to the critical/near-critical path activities.
Collaborate with all groups to improve company processes, systems, and intellectual infrastructure to promote organizational learning and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with estimating & cost control to resource/cost load schedules as required.
Analyze schedule input from project partners, including clients, internal teams, vendors, and contractors, to verify schedule durations and integrity as well as evaluate logic and float paths.
You will visit construction sites and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.
Evaluate schedule risk & perform analysis (Monte Carlo Simulation, etc.) as required.
Assist in developing alternatives for corrective action.
Make recommendations to manage float and (re)sequence activities to achieve project milestone/target dates.
Collaborate with the team to support constructability and value engineering.
Provide planning leadership and integrate with engineering, procurement, cost, technical & construction disciplines for seamless reporting to ensure effective Capital Project Delivery
Provide mentorship, supervision, and leadership for more junior department and project personnel.
Baseline schedules and document the basis for approval.

Demonstrated expertise in the use of modern planning and scheduling principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools, including CPM, Last Planner, 4D, etc.
This position will have 50% travel, or as required by the assigned project.

Must be able to adhere to strict cleanroom gowning protocol.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills are required, with the ability to prioritize and manage large amounts of information to effectively meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Short Interval Planning Software (Touchplan, vPlanner & other), BIM 360, and other visual & collaborative planning tools.
Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment.
Must have access to reliable transportation.
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCQ) processes in the Pharma/Biotech Industry.
Must be able to climb ladders as necessary.
Strong analytical and computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 Planner, Microsoft Project, as well as MS Office Suite programs (MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, etc.).
Emphasis on data visualization and effective team communication.
BS degree in engineering or related technical field, construction management, or applicable experience.
Understanding of engineering, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
Must possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
Must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis.
PMI, AACEI, or other industry certifications.
Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying working conditions.
Ability to generate earned value, SPI, CPI, and other schedule performance metrics.
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.
