-Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs, priorities, and market conditions. -Asset management: Knowledge of asset management principles and practices to optimize procurement and utilization of assets. -Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers. -Understanding of CAPEX procurement processes Familiarity with capital expenditure procurement processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and project management. -Machining knowledge*: Familiarity with machining processes, such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding. -Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address procurement challenges and optimize processes. -Financial analysis: Ability to perform financial analysis, including NPV, IRR, and payback period calculations. -Machine tools -Negotiation: Expert-level negotiation skills to secure favourable contracts and agreements. -Basic knowledge of materials -Manufacturing processes*: Understanding of manufacturing processes, including casting, forging, and welding. -Category Management: Ability to manage categories, analyse spend, and identify opportunities for cost savings. -Process knowledge -Tooling Knowledge -Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and team members -CNC operation knowledge -Contract Management: Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and management best practices. -Communication: Effective communication skills to negotiate, collaborate, and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. -Product knowledge -Risk management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with CAPEX procurement ³.
