Field Operator II

Overview

Operate plant shutdown/startup, monitor parameters, ensure safety and maintenance compliance.

Tasks

-Identify potential hazards, take immediate corrective action where possible, and report occurrences to the control room -Perform shutdowns and startup operations as per the guidelines set by the procedure and supervisors’ -Monitor and conduct all operational process activities according to instructions and production requirements -Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines -Participate, collaborate, and update various orientations and QHSE programmes to update new changes/techniques -Check level/inventory of chemicals, consumables, etc., ensure they are at targeted rates and restored to normal levels -Ensure operations daily log is maintained and provide accurate verbal handovers to the on-coming shift members -Compile, complete, and submit all necessary reports and documents regarding production operations as required -Patrol the plant area periodically at each shift to visually inspect all equipment -Monitor identity plant parameters, inform abnormalities, and inform the control room operator if any corrective action is necessary -Pressurize & De-pressurize equipment and pipelines as and when requested/required -Perform all isolation activities required for process equipment, pipelines, and vessels, and prepare certificates, permits, JHA, etc., to perform the job in a safe manner -Check maintenance works and ensure systems are adequately conditioned to prevent current and future accidents and/or spills -Respond appropriately to plant emergencies according to ERP procedure -Review the pressure, delta pressure, temperature and level gauges of all equipment and report the abnormalities to the control room -Take gauge readings, analyze, and troubleshoot them as necessary -Act as an Area Authority for PTW system for isolation for all routine planned and break-down maintenance

What You Bring

-Minimum a Technical degree or equivalent -Proficient in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), PC skills, and CMMS like SAP, Maximo, Oracle, etc. -Strong organizational skills with an ability to work under deadline commitments and pressure in both individual and team settings without supervision -Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, information analysis and interpersonal skills. -Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Industrial Processes, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent
