Assisting with installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment and system upgrades
Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems including cooling, electrical, generators, fire suppression, and UPS
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and generating status reports
Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.
Learning all aspects of the data center to effectively respond to incidents that could impact critical systems
Managing work orders through CMMS, vendor coordination, and customer-facing ticket systems
Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights.
Diagnosing and resolving operational issues while collaborating with senior engineers on complex technical problems
Monitoring building management systems and responding promptly to alarms and alerts
Following safety protocols and regulatory requirements while reporting any concerns to senior staff

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:
Flexibility to work different schedules including holidays and respond to site emergencies
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety procedures, and regulatory codes
Must be able to work different schedules.
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders up to 30 ft, navigate rooftops, and work in various positions
Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to work Holidays.
Capability to develop proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Must be able to respond to site emergencies.
Prior work in data center or mission-critical facilities
Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, and/or critical environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional interpersonal skills for interactions with tenants and contractors
Ability to Climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit.
