Tasks

-Equipment: Operate a stand up, cherry picker, high reach and sit-down forklift to get the job done efficiently and safely. -The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. -Role Overview: As a key member of our warehouse crew, you'll be responsible for picking, putaways, loading flatbed trucks with 20-40ft pipes, mixed bundles, and assisting across departments as needed. -Load and Secure Materials: Safely load and secure 20-40ft pipes and mixed bundles onto flatbed trucks, ensuring all materials are properly positioned for transport. -RF Scanner Usage: Utilize RF scanners to accurately track and manage inventory, ensuring all materials are correctly logged and identified. -Forklift Operation: Operate a sit-down forklift to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse and assist with loading tasks. -Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear. -Productivity Standards: Consistently meet or exceed company productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks. -Quality Control: Inspect and verify that all outgoing shipments meet company standards for accuracy, quality, and safety. -Departmental Support: Provide support to other departments as needed, including material handling, inventory management, and general warehouse tasks.

What You Bring

-Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. -Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits. -Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. -Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication. -High school diploma/GED or equivalent education -Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills. -Proficient in time management, consistently meeting responsibilities within designated timeframes. -Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions with customers and manufacturers. -Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures. -Basic computer skills, including keyboarding. -Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. -Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Strong problem-solving abilities, considering all factors and recommending appropriate solutions. -What We Value: Experience with heavy loading is a big plus!
