Overview

Lead 1st shift cell, ensure 2‑min TAKT flow, train staff, manage material and safety.

Tasks

-Promote Safe Work Practices for production associates to include housekeeping. -Follow Standard Work Processes for cell leader. -Coordinate with Department Leadership to ensure completion of production schedules and needed deliveries. -Assist in coordinating material necessary to meet the production schedules for Department. -Assist production as priorities dictate to meet shift production goals. -Provide continual communication updates to the Assistant Supervisor and/or Supervisor production, materials or process issues that prohibit 2-minute TAKT time. -Provide shift communication to necessary departments as to status of all departmental customer orders and shipping dispositions. -Participate in Continuous Improvement Process by generating ideas to improve Standard Work Procedures -Promote teamwork with peer cell leaders to promote and support the Marvin Company Values. -Maintain work cell production flow to support 2-minute TAKT time of Production.

What You Bring

-Strong product knowledge of production line equipment, tools, work cells, and operating process of the department. -Fundamental working knowledge of ICIM computer programs (required). -Understanding of department layout and material needed for production functions inside the department. -Ability to make spontaneous decisions regarding material warehouse locations and the coordinating the least production time required to complete customer orders. -High School diploma or equivalent (required).
