Tasks

-Analyze Title Reports to identify deeds, easements, and other recorded encumbrances, and assess their impact on specific parcels of land. -Draft final or near-final versions of Records of Survey, Topographic Maps, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Subdivision Plats, and Survey Exhibits for review and stamping by a Senior Land Surveyor. -Collaborate closely with Senior Land Surveyors and fellow Survey Technicians. -Conduct survey research and prepare boundary calculations from recorded documents for field crews to retrace property boundaries. -Draft legal descriptions and associated survey exhibits.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with Carlson field equipment -Ability to climb hills and carry less than 80lbs. -Experience preparing field surveys with survey equipment -Ability to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously -2-year Associate of Applied Science Degree (Geomatics) -Experience with Civil Drafting Software (AutoCAD / Carlson) -Willing to occasionally travel throughout the Pacific Northwest -Willingness to work towards LSIT, CST, and or FAA 107 pilot's license -2+ years of office experience -Effective verbal and written communication skills -Clean driving record with ability to drive company or rental vehicles -Land Surveyor in Training License (LSIT) -4-Year Bachelor of Science Degree (Geomatics) -Familiarity with Carlson Civil Survey CAD software
