Not an office based role – You will spend a majority of your time at the lab bench, conducting experiments and handling chemicals
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Optimize resin properties such as viscosity, drying time, hardness, and gloss for targeted applications.
Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and maintain accurate lab records.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Conduct chemical and physical testing of resins (acid value, hydroxyl value, molecular weight etc.).
Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others
Develop and synthesize alkyd resins using various raw materials (fatty acids, polyols, polyacids etc).
Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety
Formulate paints to evaluate alkyd resin samples.
Evaluate performance in coatings systems (adhesion, durability, weather resistance).
