Tasks
We are looking for a skilled Principal EC&I Engineer to lead a team of CE&I engineers and designers supporting Sellafield Ltd’s Site Management Project Office (SMPrO). This role involves delivering high-quality, compliant EC&I designs across the SMPrO portfolio, which focuses on asset-care, refurbishment, and multidisciplinary design projects at Sellafield. -Present technical information clearly to a variety of audiences. -Manage work packages delivered by the supply chain. -Collaborate with engineers, specialists, utilities, and project teams to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions. -Lead and mentor a team of CE&I engineers and designers. -Work on a diverse portfolio of SMPrO projects, contributing to Sellafield’s asset-care, refurbishment, and multidisciplinary design initiatives. -Ensure compliance with Sellafield standards, procedures, and best practices. -Deliver EC&I designs across a broad range of services, including radiological and environmental monitoring systems. -Lead a skilled team and deliver innovative EC&I design solutions.

What You Bring
Security Clearance: BPSS minimum, SC preferred Location: Warrington – Hinton House (minimum 3 days per week, occasional travel to Cumbria) This is a hands-on leadership role requiring Sellafield experience and a strong technical background. Occasional site visits to Cumbria may be required (T&S covered). -Experience managing supply chain-delivered packages of work. -Proven experience working at Sellafield. -Experience in fast-paced project environments. -Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. -Skilled at presenting technical information to varied audiences. -Ability to work closely with engineers to deliver compliant design outputs. -Broad experience in EC&I design. -Familiarity with NEC3 contracts. -BEng Degree -Strong stakeholder management skills. -Experience with radiological and environmental monitoring systems.
