Tasks

-Actively advocates for full inclusion in the workplace, fostering an environment that welcomes diversity and values equity for all employees, partners, clients, and the communities that GFT serves. -Ensures SUE field health and safety compliance in conjunction with supervisors -Responsible for communicating between team members both written and verbal -Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members. -Operate standard office equipment (i.e., personal computer, plotter, facsimile, copy machine, etc.) -Responsible for data collection of underground utilities by means of pipe and cable locators, ground penetrating radar, and vacuum excavation. -Maintain records, prepare reports and prepare correspondence as needed related to the completion of work assignments.

What You Bring

-Industrial site experience is a plus -A minimum of 2-3 years SUE or utility location experience. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decision in a timely manner -Valid driver’s license and good driving record. -Experience in land surveying is a plus -Ability to coordinate and work in a team environment -High school diploma or equivalent required. -DOT experience is a plus -Willingness to adhere to policies and procedures as directed by supervision -Knowledge of ground penetrating radar, cable locating equipment and vacuum excavation.
