Overview

Tasks
-Disassemble and assemble components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards -Overhaul, retrofit, rebuild, remanufacture, service, troubleshoot, and test a wide variety of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical equipment, including: -Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify faults or performance issues -Support general housekeeping and organization of the breaker shop, including inventory control and workspace maintenance -Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment status -Ensure all work meets required quality, safety, and compliance standards -Participate in training and hands-on learning to enhance skills and technical knowledge -Perform repairs using appropriate tools, testing equipment, and technical documentation

What You Bring
-Requires a High School Diploma or GED; prefer electro-mechanical training from trade school, apprenticeship or armed services. -Previous experience with rebuilding, repairing, and retrofitting circuit breakers. -All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening. -Working knowledge of power systems, power circuit breakers and other switchgear apparatus desirable. -Motor control centers (MCCs), contactors, and associated apparatus -Must not currently or in the future require sponsorship to work in the U.S. -Strong mechanical skills and experience desired such as industrial mechanical engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, or diesel equipment will be beneficial. -Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam. -Must be willing to travel around 20% of the time -Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. -Prefer experience reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams. -480V to 15KV circuit breaker experience desired. -Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights. -Experience at correctly using tools and testing equipment including Megger, digital multimeter, Hi-Pot tester, Oil Dielectric strength tester, multiamps relay tester, primary & secondary injection set, cable fault detector, & oscilloscope desirable -Prefer testing skills and understand fundamental electrical and mechanical testing procedures. -Circuit breakers (e.g., GE, Westinghouse, Powell, ABB, ITE, Eaton, etc.) -Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. -Switchgear and electrical panels -Must have an acceptable pre-employment criminal background check. -Experience at an OEM breaker manufacturer a plus. -Must be able to stay Drug-Free; you will be required to pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests. -PEARL breaker certification desirable. -Must be physically fit to crawl, climb, stand, walk and lift up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.
