Tasks

As Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support the Project Management team across all stages of project delivery — from planning and procurement through to construction and commissioning. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to major renewable energy infrastructure projects and develop toward a full Project Manager position. -Help manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. -Maintain strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance. -Monitor project performance and identify potential risks or delays. -Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders. -Assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting. -Support the Project Manager in coordinating and delivering solar and BESS projects. -Support project documentation, including progress reports and method statements.

What You Bring

-Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive mindset. -Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to project sites as required. -Good understanding of construction or project delivery processes. -Exposure to large-scale renewable and energy storage projects. -Competent in Microsoft Office and project planning tools. -HNC/HND or degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field. -Previous experience in renewable energy, electrical, or infrastructure projects (solar or BESS preferred).
