Automation Engineer

Overview

Develop & maintain automation documentation & support PLC/SCADA systems for pharma project.

Tasks

-Develop and maintain technical documentation including User Requirement Specifications (URS), Functional Specifications (FS), Design Specifications (DS), I/O lists, network diagrams, and interface specifications. -Author and review CQV documentation (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ protocols and reports) for automation and control systems. -Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and user guides for automation systems (PLC, SCADA, MES integrations). -Translate complex engineering concepts (e.g., skid-based automation, MQTT/UNS data flow, edge gateways) into accessible documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Bring

-Experience with SCADA/PLC systems such as CODESYS, Ignition, Wonderware/AVEVA, or Unicon. -Strong knowledge of skid-based automation and integration approaches. -Strong experience in automation engineering and/or technical writing within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries. -Familiarity with MQTT, Unified Namespace, IIoT, and Edge technologies.
