Tasks
-Develop effective distribution strategies that will provide guidance to the investment planning processes. -Develop strategies focused on new innovations to guide implementation across transmission and distribution systems over a long-term planning horizon. -Provide communications to inform and promote acceptance of innovation in support of change management process. -Develop alternatives and preferred solution; and facilitate delivery of solution through suppliers and service providers. -Conduct technical and economic impact assessments to determine distribution system needs related to distribution stations, lines, and distributed generation.

What You Bring
-Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree -Knowledge of power transmission and distribution infrastructure -Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and develop trust and mutual respect for effective integration across multiple internal stakeholders and at multiple organizational levels. -High degree of personal commitment to customer excellence and continuous improvement. -Must meet New Grad Program Eligibility Requirements -Valid, permanent driver's license (Ontario Class G) -Good Academic Standing (A copy of your Official/Unofficial Transcript) -Or, you are currently completing a master's degree in a related field, you are graduating by May 2026, and have a maximum of 1 year between completing your bachelor's degree and enrolling in your master's program. -This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired through the completion of 4 years of University training (Grade XII plus 5 years) or equivalent. -Excellent knowledge of technical writing for the preparation of reports, presentations and other communications. -Excellent quantitative analysis skills. -Detailed understanding of Excel formulas and functions is an asset -Previous co-op experience in a relevant field and industry is considered an asset -Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to “think outside the box” - solve problems that require analysis of numerous variables and alternatives that required exercising judgement, interpretation and unique approaches to accommodate problem uniqueness. -A copy of your most recent Transcript (Official/Unofficial) -You have graduated with your bachelor's degree in 2024, 2025 or will graduate by May 2026 -Knowledge of economics to carry out economic evaluations and to compare alternatives and assess results. -Strong Computer skills, with the ability to learn various software packages as required -Demonstrated high level of initiative and organizational skills. -Demonstrated effective listening, verbal and written communications skills. -Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory related to the design and operation of power equipment associated with the electrical power system is considered an asset -Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
