Junior/Intermediate water project engineer managing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.

Tasks

-Supporting multi-disciplinary municipal water resources projects (typically water and drainage related) -Provide technical mentorship to Engineers-in-Training -Assist Project Managers with various duties including project set-up, invoicing, financial and schedule management, change management and other tasks -Coordinating design drawings and specification development -Detailed studies and design tasks associated with water related projects including site civil, conveyance and water resources projects -Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams towards delivering projects on time and on budget

What You Bring

-Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) -Working knowledge of contract and tender document development. -Minimum of 5 years’ experience with experience in the water/municipal sectors. (1+ years for Junior) -Working knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics (Not required for Junior's but is an asset) -Working knowledge of linear and/or vertical infrastructure design -P.Eng/P.LNG/ or P.Tech qualified or eligible to obtain -Hydraulic modeling may be required on some projects (software including PCSWMM, Mike, WaterCAD, etc) would be an asset. -Hydraulic modeling may be required on some projects (software including PCSWMM, Mike, WaterCAD, etc.). would be asset
