The Role

Overview

Assist clients, schedule appointments, and maintain showroom for California Closets.

Tasks

-Assist clients picking up or dropping off material at the showroom [shelving, hardware, etc.] -Schedule appointments for clients with our Design Consultants -Maintain white glove cleanliness of the showroom -Assist customers in the showroom, providing information about product and services -Answer & direct incoming phone calls

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. -Ability to quickly learn the features and benefits of our products. -Reliable and punctual -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Self-motivated and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. -Professional appearance -Personable with effective communication skills – both written and verbal, with a wide variety of people. -Customer Service experience in retail, hospitality, call center, or similar. -Experience with CRM software, MS Office, email, and internet -Ability to multi-task and deal with a wide variety of people. -Available to work in both Tribeca and Upper East Side on a weekly basis -Problem solving skills. -Ability to enter data while on the phone with a client. -Manage time effectively. -Saturdays required, with 4 days Mon-Fri. -Complete COI’s [certificate of insurance] for upcoming installations
