The Role
Overview
Design, plan and deliver civil engineering projects (highways, drainage, structures) in the UK.

Tasks
-Prepare and develop detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications in line with UK standards and regulations. -Manage and coordinate civil works during all project phases—from concept to completion. -Ensure all work adheres to CDM Regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies. -Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with design and safety requirements. -Carry out feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments. -Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and progress reporting. -Produce calculations for drainage, highways, and earthworks using appropriate design software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD). -Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and project coordination skills to contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. -Strong understanding of UK design standards (DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, BS/EN standards). -Familiarity with BIM processes and digital engineering tools. -Bachelor’s degree (BEng/BSc) or Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) in Civil Engineering or related discipline. -Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. -Working towards or achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with ICE or IStructE. -Proven experience in civil or infrastructure engineering in the UK. -Experience in sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and environmental design. -Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. -Proficient in AutoCAD and at least one civil design software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, Revit).
