Tasks
-Maintain accurate, up-to-date project cost data on a weekly basis. -Lead the estimating and cost management functions, including benchmarking, cost control, and cost reporting. -Confidently lead and facilitate scope and estimate review meetings through strong presentation and communication skills. -Collaborate with procurement, value engineering, LEED analysis, and life cycle cost teams to optimize project value. -Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively and learn client-specific cost management software as needed. -Review estimates for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives. -Prepare, scope, and analyze electrical construction costs and estimates for semiconductor projects. -Lead and coordinate change order meetings, working closely with project managers to validate and price changes across multiple trades. -Interpret drawings and perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam, with a solid understanding of cost-per-square-foot benchmarks. -Provide strategic cost leadership and direction to the client’s project management team.
