Tasks
The benefits coordinator is responsible for assisting in administrating various employee benefits, including retirement savings, disability, life and health insurance, and leaves, and top candidates will also have great communication skills in order to educate employees about their benefits. -Help guide employees through benefits enrollment -Assist in responding to basic employee questions about benefits programs -Provide support during audits, reports, and wellness initiatives -Participate in HR compliance efforts related to benefits (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA) -Maintain accurate records and ensure data is updated in HR/payroll systems -Collaborate with the broader HR team on projects and administrative tasks -Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits (health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), etc.) -Help prepare employee communication materials (emails, documents, FAQs)

What You Bring
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) -Familiarity with payroll and benefits software is favorable. -Strong attention to detail and organization -SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designations is favorable. -Bachelor Degree in Human Resources -2+ years of prior work in human resources, with exposure to benefits administration. -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required -Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion -Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws. -Excellent written and verbal communication -Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
