Overview

Design and analyze bridges, culverts, and retaining walls from concept through construction.

Tasks

-Perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations. -Develop or assist in developing structural details and construction plans. -Successfully interface with staff from other disciplines (highway, traffic, civil etc.) to support a range of bridge projects -Prepare geometric / bridge layouts, construction specifications, and material quantity calculations, load rating analyses.

What You Bring

-Computer skills desired include Bridge Design Software, Computer Aided Drafting (Microstation preferred). -5-8 years of bridge design and analysis experience. -Familiarity with developing bridge analysis models. -Strong technical and communication skills with a commitment to quality. -TX PE license, or the ability to obtain one within one year is preferred but not required. -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structures. Masters Degree preferred.
