Create detailed structural Revit models and drawings, collaborating with engineers on diverse projects.

Tasks
-Develop and refine structural models and drawings based on engineer concepts and sketches using Revit. -Support project documentation efforts to streamline workflows and improve efficiency -Engage in regular mentorship and training, contributing to team development and best practices in modeling. -May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs. -Duties require in-person attendance, Monday through Friday, during our business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM at our office in Downtown Los Angeles for the training period. -Utilize Revit/BIM technology effectively, maintaining KPFF’s standards in modeling practices. -Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials. -Produce accurate parametric models that adhere to project specifications and industry standards. -Participate in a variety of projects, including high-rise buildings, educational facilities, transportation infrastructure, and more. -Collaborate closely with structural engineers and project teams to ensure design intent and accuracy.

What You Bring
-Proficient in creating detailed structural models from initial concepts, design sketches, and engineer inputs. -Strong understanding of Revit Structure and BIM processes. -Duties require the ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day. -Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain. -Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits. -Skilled in troubleshooting Revit issues, optimizing model performance, and adapting designs to meet project requirements. -Familiarity with AEC industry standards, structural modeling best practices, and relevant codes and regulations. -At least ten years of experience working with Revit, with a focus on structural modeling. -Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings.
