Tasks

-Communicating delays or discrepancies with management -Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies -Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle. -Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies -Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. -Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse

What You Bring

-Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act -Complete or have completed a driver's road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. -Forklift training, certification, and operation -Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license -Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. -Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card. -Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. -Time Management -High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
