Tasks
-Conduct regular jobsite walkthroughs, inspections, safety audits, and observations. -Accompany safety, health, and insurance inspectors during site walkthroughs as needed. -Serve as a safety leader, promoting and enforcing safe work practices across all operations. -Manage documentation and administrative tasks related to safety compliance. -Stay informed on industry best practices, safety publications, and updates on protective equipment and techniques. -Participate in Safety Committee meetings and incident review sessions. -Record and report near misses, incidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions using company-approved tools and platforms. -Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for staff and craft personnel. -Collaborate with project management and supervisory teams to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions and unsafe behaviors. -Assist in the development and implementation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Site-Specific Safety Plans. -Assist with driver safety programs, DOT compliance, and maintenance of related records. -Support the administration of safety programs, compliance initiatives, and training activities.

What You Bring
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. -Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures and compliance standards. -Safety Training -OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 certification is a plus. -Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction safety or an equivalent combination of training and related experience. -Experience working on large construction projects is preferred. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) -OSHA Compliance
