Tasks
-Strategic Planning – Assist in schedule development, resource allocation, and execution plans to ensure project success -Budget & Financial Oversight – Review financial reports and implement strategies to achieve targets -Fleet & Asset Management – Assist in planning and implementing improvement strategies for effective asset utilization -You will be required to work Monday to Friday work schedule with the expectation to monitor your phone for after hours emergencies -Risk & Compliance Management – Ensure contract and regulatory compliance, including collective agreement administration -Coaching & Mentorship – Support front-line leaders with training and development to enhance team performance -Health & Safety Leadership – Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Ledcor’s HS&E standards and OH&S regulations -Communication & Collaboration – Effectively communicate with front-line leaders, ensuring contract requirements are successfully executed -Lead & Direct Teams – Provide overall direction to ensure project goals, safety, and contract schedules are met -Operational Oversight – Monitor performance metrics (cost, schedule, safety, quality, environment) and guide teams to achieve them

What You Bring
-Proven planning, scheduling, and leadership skills -Applicants who reside locally will be given preference due to the nature of the work -Experience with continuous improvement processes (ISO or other management systems) is preferred -As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required -Work will be a combination of office and outdoors in various weather conditions -3-5 years of experience in highway road maintenance, infrastructure, bridge maintenance, or construction in a supervisory role -Technical training or trade certification in a related field is an asset -Strong knowledge of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards -Experience managing bridge and highway projects is an advantage
