Tasks

-Assists with the production of monthly and annual financial statements and reports. -May perform less complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects. -Compiles, consolidates, and conducts basic analysis of accounting and finance information. -Examines a variety of financial statements and transactions for completeness, internal accuracy, and conformance with accounting standards. Prepares tables, charts, and other exhibits for reports. -Assists with monthly and annual account reconciliations and close activities. -Makes accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.

What You Bring

-GCSE or equivalent Math’s and English (Grade C/4 or above) with 3 other subjects at grade C/4 or above. -Proficient IT and MS office skills (including Excel) is essential. -Good Organisation skills and Excellent Communication skills. -The Level 3 Apprentice will have obtained AAT Level 2 or A Level equivalent qualification in Accounting and Finance related field. -Must be a UK resident who has lived in the UK for the last 3 years. If you are a previous resident of the EU/EEA, you must have gained pre-settlement or settlement status -Good knowledge of Double-entry Bookkeeping is essential for the role.
