Tasks

-Achieves financial objectives by controlling expenses. -Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. -Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service needs. -Analyses sales data to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability. -Drives sales goals, monitors sales performance, and implements strategies to increase sales. -Manages store inventory, ensures adequate stock levels, and oversees the ordering and receiving of buildings. -Completes store operational requirements. -Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer inquiries and complaints, and ensures customer satisfaction. -Provides a safe, clean, and well-organized store.

What You Bring

-Proven track record of managing multiple retail stores or a district. -Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences. -Proven ability to meet sales targets. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form -Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions using sound logic and good business judgment -Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet applications required; experience in utilizing Customer Relations Management (CRM) software -Ability to work beyond normal working hours, and on weekends as needed. -3 years’ experience in sales, retail, or inventory management, preferred. -Proficient in using point of sales and inventory management software. -Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and the general public -Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and merchandising. -Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff Shed -Excellent negotiation, and customer service skills. -Experience in a similar role in the retail sector, preferred. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Experience with various social media platforms such as Facebook, etc.
