Tasks

-Create self-service capabilities and automated infrastructure for developers -Design and build integrated toolchains and workflows for CI/CD, security, and compliance -Assist in defining and maintaining SLAs -Develop and implement scalable and secure containerized environments -Work closely with architecture, development, operations, and security teams -Provide technical input and support for projects and infrastructure -Proactively manage applications to address service failures before they escalate -Automate application build and deployment processes -Ensure security measures are in place for applications and infrastructure -Integrate monitoring & track the performance of the OpenShift platform and applications -Collaborate and partner with various stakeholders inside of Brightly -Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of AWS -Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment -Experience in developing and managing containerized environments -Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience -Strong analytical problem-solving skills including troubleshooting -Experience with tools such as Tekton, Argo, GitHub, 3scale -Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Go, Bash, and/or JavaScript -Several years of experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift is a plus -Familiarity with infrastructure management tools like Terraform and Ansible -Willing to be on 24x7 on-call rotation and respond to production outages -Proficiency in container orchestration platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes -Analytical organizational skills and attention to detail -Experience with Istio, service mesh, Postgres, Datadog, and Kafka are a plus -Excellent communication and collaboration abilities -5 - 7 years or more of experience in platform engineering or a related field
