The Role

Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering projects

Tasks

Provide support to colleagues within the estimating function, contributing to the development of junior team members while helping build strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives. In this position, you will be a key contributor within the Estimating department, working closely with submissions and technical teams to prepare competitive tender submissions. Support Design & Build tender requirements by identifying design considerations and engaging effectively with external designers. Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, participating in tender meetings, collaborating with the wider bid team, and ensuring all costs are accurately captured within estimating systems. Develop accurate cost estimates, cost plans and budgets from initial project information, demonstrating the ability to price from first principles and review subcontractor quotations.
