Overview

Design and execute mechanical testing of gas turbine compressor subsystems.

Tasks

-Perform data analysis for troubleshooting test systems and present results to internal and external customers -Manage facility assets and instrumentation, including tracking and coordinating calibration schedules and performing required periodic maintenance -Design, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electro-mechanical test systems, instrumentation, advanced data acquisition, and experimental test control systems -Coordinate test readiness reviews, risk assessments and data review sessions -Plan and execute mechanical testing of subsystems and components; to include aerospace engine compressor rig testing. -Design and construct test setups to achieve specified test results for customers

What You Bring

-Familiarity with aerospace engines and engine controls technology -In order to be eligible for consideration, you should be a U.S. Citizen -Independent thinking with strong communication skills and team mentality -PhD in Engineering, OR -Master’s degree in Engineering, OR -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of engineering experience, OR -Experience with gas turbine engine testing -Experience with gas turbine engine compressor design and operation
