Overview

Operate foundation drill rigs, lead crew, perform maintenance, and travel extensively.

Tasks

-Perform safety meetings on OSHA standards. -Complete drilling logs and equipment inspection reports. -Forecasting equipment, tooling and material needs while helping with the procurement of small items when needed. -Operate foundation type drill rigs. -Maintain equipment and be mechanically inclined with the understanding of hydraulics. -Perform minor equipment repairs on drills in the field when necessary. (i.e., replace hydraulics hoses, cables, troubleshoot electrical issues.)

What You Bring

-Experience with Soilmec or Similar Drill Rigs -Ability to travel 6 weeks at a time followed by a 7-10 day break. -Experience in forming piers and placing concrete preferred but not required -Experienced with leading a team. -Experience with steel casings and/or drilling mud in poor soil conditions -Must be familiar with Soilmec or Similar Foundation Drill Rigs -Experience drilling in hard rock -Be willing to travel and work away from home as required. -Soilmec and IMT track mounted drills: 1 year -Valid license with clean driving record -Have a Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record. -drilling hard rock: 1 year -Must be able to complete jobs in a timely manner. -team leading: 1 year -steel casings and/or drilling mud in poor soil conditions: 1 year -CDL is preferred
